Shipping & Returns
SHIPPING
All orders are processed Monday through Friday from our San Francisco Bay Area studio and typically ship within 1-2 business days. Delivery times may vary depending on your location. During peak periods, sales events or new product launches, shipping may take up to 7 business days. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the following business day. Around major holidays or during warmer months, slight delays may occur as we take additional care to ensure your candles arrive in pristine condition.
We primarily ship via UPS, FedEx and USPS, selecting the most reliable option for each order. Shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout, based on weight and delivery address. A confirmation email with tracking details will be sent once your order has been shipped. Please allow up to 24–48 hours for tracking updates to appear in the carrier’s system.
Complimentary shipping is offered on all orders over $75. Free-shipping promotions exclude Alaska and Hawaii, which may require extended delivery times. For orders over $250, a signature will be required upon delivery for security purposes. If you prefer to waive this requirement, please contact us at info@hamistudio.co before your order ships.
Items marked as “Pre-order” will ship once available. If your order includes both pre-order and in-stock items, all items will ship together unless placed separately.
At this time, HAMI currently ships within the United States. We are working to expand international shipping in the near future.
RETURNS
We accept returns on unused and unopened candles within 7 days of delivery. To initiate a return, please email info@hamicandles.com with your order number to request a return authorization. To be eligible for a return the item must be unused and in its original condition and packaging. As a small, handcrafted candle studio, we kindly ask that customers cover the cost of return shipping. We are not liable for lost or unconfirmed return shipments so we recommend using a reliable delivery method with tracking to ensure safe delivery. Once your return has been received and inspected, HAMI will issue a refund to your original payment method within 14 days excluding shipping fees.
We take great care in crafting and inspecting every candle before it leaves our studio. If your order arrives damaged, please reach out to us at info@hami.com 7 days of delivery. Please include your order number and photographs if applicable. We’ll make it right as quickly as possible.
Due to the artisanal nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns on used candles. All sale items, personalised or custom items and gift cards are considered final sale and are not eligible for return or refund. Online discounts and promotional codes cannot be combined with sale items.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide an accurate and secure shipping address. HAMI is not liable for delays, misdeliveries, or stolen packages once scanned by the carrier. Once a package is marked “Delivered” by the carrier, HAMI is not responsible for lost or stolen items. For assistance, please contact the carrier directly with your tracking number.
